Ben Schwab (b. 1978 in San Antonio, TX) received his Master of Fine Arts in Painting from Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana.

Schwab has participated in solo exhibitions at Billis Williams Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; St. Joseph’s University, Philadelphia, PA; and the University of Rochester, Rochester, NY; among others.

His work has been included in group exhibitions including George Billis Gallery, New York, NY; Billis Williams Gallery, Los Angeles, CA; Trestle Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; and Space Gallery, Denver, CO; among others.

His work is included in the permanent collections of Oak View Group, Denver, CO; PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Tampa, FL; Capital One/MIT, Boston, MA; HUB International, Chicago, IL; Strategic Hotels, Chicago, IL; Federal Capital Partners, Washington, D.C., Barkan Companies, Boston, MA; Sheraton Hotels, Denver, CO; Mass General Brigham, Boston, MA; and Hub50House, Boston, MA; among others. 

He is the recipient of awards including the Pollock-Krasner Foundation Grant; Jacob K. Javits Fellowship; Vermont Studio Center Residency Fellowship; New York Foundation for the Arts Strategic Opportunity Stipend; and the Career Development Program Fellowship from The Center for Emerging Visual Artists; among others.

Schwab lives and works as a full-time artist in Upstate New York.
